1. Bucharest
The Village Museum is an open-air ethnographic museum located in the Herăstrău Park, showcasing traditional Romanian village life. Founded in 1936, it features over 300 authentic peasant houses, churches, mills, and farms from all regions of Romania, from the 17th to the 20th centuries.
2. Village Museum
The Obor Market in Bucharest spans two main halls and a lively outdoor area, offering a rich variety of fresh produce, meats, cheeses, spices, pastries, household items, clothing and second-hand goods. A highlight for visitors is the Obor Terrace, an outdoor seating area where you can enjoy local delicacies such as grilled minced meat rolls, soft pretzels, langoustines, fresh grape must or unpasteurized milk.
3. Obor Market
The second largest building in the world, built by the ruler Ceausescu in Romania before the revolution, was designed by architect Anca Petrescu, when she was only 28 years old. It took five years to build it. The palace is huge in size (about 3,000 square meters). A hall that to this day the Romanians have not been able to utilize 5% of, even though the parliament and the university were moved to it. The second largest office building in the world after the Pentagon in the US, it is called a "palace" and not a "house" of parliament... A highly recommended place to visit and take a tour (up to about two hours) and not just to look from the outside. Visit, see and be impressed by the amount of materials that were used. For example, about 7,000 tons of steel, 200,000 meters of glass, 3,000 tons of crystal, 3,000 meters of leather and about 2,500 gold chandeliers and many other things.
4. Palace of Parliament
Karting is a high-speed motor sport in which participants compete in small, open-wheeled vehicles on miniature circuits. It serves as both a popular recreational activity and a competitive stepping stone for professional racing drivers to develop their skills.
